Starting August 29, 2025, all shipments from Japan to the United States will be subject to import duties, regardless of the item’s value or category.

Based on the latest information, the duty rate is expected to be 15% of the item value.
Please note that additional customs-related fees may also apply.

At SANTAKA, we carefully select our shipping partners to ensure your orders are delivered safely and efficiently.
Currently, we use UPS for deliveries to the United States, as it offers both dependable service and competitive rates for international shipping. 

To ensure a smooth and predictable delivery, we now ship all international orders via DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

All applicable import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at the time of purchase. In most cases, this means the total you see at checkout is final, and no additional fees will be required upon delivery. > By collecting these fees upfront, we handle the customs process for you, preventing unexpected bills from the carrier and ensuring your order arrives at your doorstep without hassle.

Due to this change, we are unable to accept returns or refunds once an order has entered the U.S., as duties are applied automatically at that point.
